RECOGNITION

This work comes from my 2025 solo show QUEER TODAY GONE TOMORROW. This series thanks the venues that helped build gay, kink and fetish community, and thank those that continue to support them under threat of closure.

The concept behind RECOGNITION is two-fold. I firstly like to celebrate and recognise the value of places of cultural and personal importance. Secondly I believe the stronger someone's personal connection to a place, the more it can be abstracted and retain recognition, with my artwork exploring this intersection of science and emotion.
