Photographer of the 90s queer scene and the generation X club culture, a fragment of the 90s in images.
It was time to open the time capsule or in other words my negative boxes and start scaning.
My negatives films spent nearly 25 years travelling between friend's attics and other storage facilities. Travelling all over the world from Brussels to Montreal passing by Cape Town... they have even been to Sweden.
With the uprising of the extremist movements, violence and hate against LGBTQ... It was time to get them back and open those boxes. A testimony about a time when we fought and won , we legalised same sex marriage and all the rights that we have today. This is our story, your history and our Legacy.
Let us travel back in time to the 90's and discover what the the queer scene and Gen-x club culture was about. And how was the battle for equal rights by the LGBT community in the 90s.
Today we must join a new battle as things are really bad in a lot of countries where crimes against LGBTQ are rising.
