Julian Hsiung

Julian Hsiung is a self-taught, accomplished artist known for his highly detailed oil paintings that reflect Renaissance masters’ classical techniques with a modern edge and setting, often focusing on the intimate portraiture of young men. He was born in Beijing and raised in Taiwan, where he studied at Overseas Chinese University. After moving to New York, he established his art studio in Dumbo.
