Beschreibung
“Attached” is a work that takes pleasure of the bold aesthetics of rope play. The ropes are tight on the skin, creating crevasses that absorb the shadows, which in turn are creating intense lines that wrap the body, emphasizing the muscles and empower the presence of the male body, but these lines also reveal the necessary effort it takes for a complete submission. This drawing, like others in the series, is a part of that discourse that occurs within the everyday sex pics language between gay men, and commemorates a moment of glorified restraint, and a transfer of control, but also holds a testimony of the dedication and effort required to perform this bounding. The ropes are attached to the body, restraining the movement, pressing the muscles and against the erect cock, emphasizing the stimulation. Just for a moment, in front of the camera, while the pain and discomfort are increased, he is forced to change position.
Our journey began with a simple squiggle on a tablet, a line that set us on a path to uncover the unspoken everyday language of sex pics, each drawing inspired by real events and scenes.
Our art is born from the fusion of traditional drawing techniques with the boundless possibilities of digital creation. This technique enables us to capture the essence of our subjects with a unique depth of emotion and detail. The choice of colors aims at emphasizing the biology of the male physique, undressing the skin from the body to reveal the raw, unguarded truths beneath.
At the heart of our exploration is the unspoken everyday language of sex pics, a reflection on how men perceive themselves and how they choose to present themselves to the world. Our drawings are a tribute to the courage it takes to explore one’s desires openly, to challenge societal norms, and to redefine masculinity in a way that honors authenticity over conformity.
