Juan Salvador

Juan Salvador Arreola is a mexican artist residing in Berlin, Germany. 

Self-taught, he started with charcoal and pastel drawings before evolving to the mix of a diversity of media and a more defined and strong style. 

His weakness for masks and costumes is often reflected in his work, that depict worlds of demons, masked and humanoid entities, weaving between reality and fantasy. 

Sex is also a recurring topic, as it signifies the passion that strips us of our rationality and exposes our wild animal side, the one that is most private and truthful.
