Alexandre Levi

Alek (Alexandre Levi, 1984) is a french, polish Berlin-based artist focusing on surrealistic
expression with photographic prints. He worked in visual communication and design
extensively in Germany and France. He graduated in Fashion and Design in 2010 at IFM
(Institut Français de la Mode in Paris), after a master of Engineering in 2009 at ECL (École
Centrale de Lyon, in France)
Alek presented his work in Bangkok in 2023, Korea, Berlin and most recently in Tokyo in 2024.
His themes are about individuality, queerness and inclusion. He look for insights and
informations captured in every day life. It relates to his queer childhood in the “NYC Queens-
like” 19th district of Paris in the 90s. Also there is an influence of the time when he was living
as an adult in Japan and in Thailand, and currently in Berlin.
