Description
Stor Dubiné in his great series of DUBBYBEARS also pays tribute to the great pioneers of the struggle for queer rights, equality and freedom. Activist personalities who open the eyes of the world and make us see and understand that we are are all members of the same big human family who deserve to live without hate and intolerance. Atheists or believers, intellectuals or practitioners, drama queens or comedy queens, they express in the most intense way the difference between the world we live in and the one we deserve. That’s why they have earned the admiration of their followers, that’s why they feature prominently in the DUBBYBEARS family of Stor Dubiné.

6_ DUBBYVIAGRA (Gloria Viagra / Michel Gosewitsch – 1966)
Moving to Berlin-Kreuzberg in 1972, Gosewitsch started at an early age to engage in his mother’s political activities. He worked behind the bar at SO36 and helped to shape this place. Starting there as Gloria de Tunten und Blasen, he finally became Gloria Viagra as a DJ in Ibiza in 1999 when the blue pill was released, a career that made him both a popular artist and a political and social activist.
