Beschreibung
Born in Berlin in 1901, Marlene Dietrich starred in the Babelsberg silent movies of the 20s and went on to become an international film icon. This image is from a promotional still for the movie Morocco made in 1930. The film is famous for a scene in which Dietrich performs a song dressed in a man’s tuxedo and kisses another woman, both of which were considered scandalous for the period.
