While his face is mostly obscured by a black hat, held as if to shield himself, Alex’s nakedness reveals everything else. This interplay of light and shadow reflects his struggle with scopophobia—the fear of being perceived—inviting viewers to contemplate the tension between exposure and retreat in moments of self-expression.
