I believe in sex as an intimate and powerful instinct of the human being. A force that strips us of our reasoning to let out our purest animal instinct.
In my work I try to capture that state of maximum ecstasy that often happens during the encounter between two strangers who recognize each other through touch and smell, without the need for words.
The demonisation of nudity and carnal contact is also present in my work, due to a childhood steeped in Catholicism. It can be found in the form of masked ghosts around the main figures, simple shadows that do not affect that powerful and divine sexual encounter.
