Self portraits shot at Fort Dix, a notorious sex compound deep in the woods of Pennsylvania. As a survivor of trafficking and rape this series celebrates strength and confidence. During the shoot I presented myself as an object of desire before unknown admirers. My nakedness and poses were a declaration of self determination.
The series is one of many exploring the aesthetic history of pornography. Peep Show borrows from the murky, graphic heavy 1970’s.
