As the second work in a three-part exploration of masculinity, 1969 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible / 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible reflects on masculinity as inheritance. Referencing the visual mythology of classic cars, the work explores how ideals of power, freedom, desire, and status are passed down through family, culture, and memory. Through fragmentation and reconstruction, it considers the tension between what we inherit and what we choose to carry forward.
